I’ve never done a renovation before and you hear of some real horror stories.  I’m glad to say our experience could not have been more different.  The build went smoothly, to schedule and to budget, ignoring all the extras we asked for!  However it’s the level of finish and attention to detail which is the most impressive.  I could honestly not recommend Iwik highly enough.

Kenilworth Avenue

We  were fortunate in being able to commission Iwik Construction for a renovation project on our  Victorian house in Wimbledon. Planning permission and architect drawings were in place to convert two flats back in to one original dwelling. Dan Mclachlan worked with his quantity surveyor to produce a detailed budget. We were able to continue living in the property from January 2013 during the 16 weeks of the build.Many days were below zero!

Daily discussion of issues ensured clear lines of communication. Dan was particularly good at liaising with the building control officer,party wall engineer as well as the difficult structural engineer. Costs were kept to a minimum without cutting corners. The project was delivered on time and on budget.

The finished house is better than we ever imagined and a joy to live in.

It was a pleasure to work with such a professional company.

“Daniel worked extensively for me on a property in Fulham.

It was an exceptionally difficult build as it involved
converting a commercial property into a residential home. This initially
required extensive steel work. A steel framework was erected to replace a large
supporting wall which held a three story building above it.

Daniel was excellent throughout. He project managed
the steel work which was the most important aspect of the build as well as many
other aspects of the job. After that he used his exceptional carpentry skills
to produce wall to wall mirrored wardrobes in both bedrooms and numerous other
joinery jobs that required his expertise.

I felt that Daniel took on the project as if it was
his own property and responsibility which I believe is exactly want you want on
a building job. He is very professional, personable and reliable. He is someone
I would trust 100% and would always recommend him for any future job.”

"We spent 4 months renovating, adding a side
extension, and totally re-decorating our home with Dan McLachlan as our
builder. From our 1st meeting - late at night at a time to suit my husband - to
the final snagging 5 months after we moved in - Dan was professional, polite
and hard working. Nothing was too much trouble and as the project grew and
evolved Dan handled all our requests brilliantly.
Dan oversaw all aspects of the build and was on site all day, every day. He
